Thousand chart
Thousand chart helps children practise using a chart of 1 to 1000 to find numbers in rows, columns, and step patterns. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.
How to solve this
- The thousand chart arranges numbers 1–1000 in rows of ten; moving right adds 1, moving down adds 10.
- Use the chart to spot patterns: numbers in the same column all share the same ones digit.
- Check a filled cell by adding its row-step and column-step from any known neighbour.
