How to solve this
- Three-digit numbers have hundreds, tens, and ones: 347 means 3 hundreds, 4 tens, and 7 ones.
- To read or write a three-digit number, name the hundreds first, then tens, then ones.
- Check by expanding: 347 = 300 + 40 + 7 — adding the parts must give back the original number.
