How to solve this
- On a number line to 1000, locate the nearest hundred first, then count on by tens and ones.
- Estimate the position by dividing the space between hundreds into ten equal parts — each part is 10.
- Check: the distance from the left hundred to your mark, added to the left hundred, must equal your number.
