Multiplication to 100
Multiplication to 100 helps children practise multiplying pairs of small numbers with products up to 100, applying times-table facts fluently. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.
How to solve this
- All multiplication facts up to 10×10 should be known by heart in grade 3.
- For any fact you hesitate on, use a nearby known fact: 8×7 = 8×5 + 8×2 = 40 + 16 = 56.
- Check by dividing: 56 ÷ 8 should give 7, and 56 ÷ 7 should give 8.
