Times table families
Some times tables are closely related: the 4s are double the 2s, the 8s are double the 4s, and the 6s and 9s grow out of the 3s. Practicing them in families lets children use one known fact to find the next.
How to solve this
- Group tasks show multiplication as equal groups: 3 × 4 means 3 groups with 4 in each.
- Draw or imagine the groups, count how many in total, and write the multiplication equation.
- Check by switching the order: 3 × 4 = 4 × 3 = 12 — commutativity means both orders give the same answer.

5 + 5 + 5 + 5
4 × 5 = 20

Android app
Times Divide
Multiplication and division worksheets that follow what the child has already solved.
The app does not generate PDF sheets at random. It uses the child’s previous results, including offline sheets, so the next practice can focus on what still needs work.
- Generate printable PDFs from the child’s history.
- Enter solved offline sheets quickly after practice.
- The app shows each answer; you mark it correct or not.
