Grade 4 Math

Numbers to 10,000

Practise reading, writing, comparing, rounding, and calculating with numbers from 1000 to 10,000.

How to solve this

  • Four-digit numbers add the thousands place: 7,382 means 7 thousands, 3 hundreds, 8 tens, and 2 ones.
  • When writing a number from parts, keep empty places as zeroes: 4 thousands and 6 tens is 4,060.
  • For sequences such as 2500, 3000, 3500, look at the step size first; here each move adds 500.
