Practise equations with blanks, short number clues, and inverse operations across grade 4 number ranges.
How to solve this
- A blank in multiplication can be found by division: __ × 4 = 48 means 48 ÷ 4.
- A blank in addition can be found by subtraction: if 4700 + __ = 5000, then 5000 - 4700.
- Always put the found number back into the original puzzle; this catches answers that only fit part of the clue.
