Addition grids (mixed)
This addition grid puts tens in the rows and ones in the columns, so every cell shows how a two-digit number is built: 60 + 8 = 68. Children fill the missing cells and use the patterns to check themselves.
How to solve this
- A mixed calculation grid uses addition and subtraction: each cell equals the sum or difference of its row and column headers.
- Identify the operation shown for each row (or stated in the instructions) before filling any cell.
- Check each completed cell by reversing the operation with its header pair.
