Grade 3 Math

Multiples and divisors

Multiples and divisors helps children practise identifying whether a number is a multiple of a given factor, and listing divisors of small numbers. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.

How to solve this

  • A multiple of n is any number you reach by counting in steps of n: multiples of 4 are 4, 8, 12, 16 …
  • A divisor (factor) of n is a number that divides n exactly with no remainder: divisors of 12 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 12.
  • Check: n is a multiple of d if and only if d is a divisor of n.

Android app

Times Divide

Multiplication and division worksheets that follow what the child has already solved.

The app does not generate PDF sheets at random. It uses the child’s previous results, including offline sheets, so the next practice can focus on what still needs work.

  • Generate printable PDFs from the child’s history.
  • Enter solved offline sheets quickly after practice.
  • The app shows each answer; you mark it correct or not.
