Double and half
Double and half helps children practise doubling and halving three-digit numbers and connecting the operations as inverse pairs. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.
How to solve this
- Doubling and halving are inverse operations: double 35 = 70; half of 70 = 35.
- For doubling larger numbers, split into parts: double 35 = double 30 + double 5 = 60 + 10 = 70.
- Check: (double n) ÷ 2 = n and (half n) × 2 = n — both must hold.

The app does not generate PDF sheets at random. It uses the child’s previous results, including offline sheets, so the next practice can focus on what still needs work.
- Generate printable PDFs from the child’s history.
- Enter solved offline sheets quickly after practice.
- The app shows each answer; you mark it correct or not.
