Counting in tens
Counting in tens helps children practise counting forward and backward in tens, from 0 to 100 and back. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.
How to solve this
- The tens sequence is 10, 20, 30, … 100 — each number is 10 more than the one before.
- To extend the sequence, simply add 10 each time; to go backwards, subtract 10 each time.
- Check that every number in your sequence ends in 0 and that the tens digits go 1, 2, 3 … in order.
