Number sequences
Number sequences helps children practise recognising the step rule in a sequence and filling in missing terms, up to 100. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.
How to solve this
- A number sequence follows a fixed rule — find the rule by subtracting any term from the next one.
- Once you know the step size, add it to (or subtract it from) the last known term to get the next.
- Check the whole sequence: applying the same step every time should reproduce every number in the list.
