Square numbers

Square numbers helps children practise recognising square numbers as products where both factors are equal — 1, 4, 9, 16, 25 up to 100. Read the short guide and look through the examples before choosing online practice or a printable worksheet.

How to solve this

  • A square number is a number multiplied by itself: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, 49, 64, 81, 100.
  • Visualise them as perfect squares: 4 = 2×2 fits a 2×2 grid; 9 = 3×3 fits a 3×3 grid.
  • Check: can you arrange that many dots into a perfect square shape? If yes, it is a square number.

Times Divide

Multiplication and division worksheets that follow what the child has already solved.

The app does not generate PDF sheets at random. It uses the child’s previous results, including offline sheets, so the next practice can focus on what still needs work.

  • Generate printable PDFs from the child’s history.
  • Enter solved offline sheets quickly after practice.
  • The app shows each answer; you mark it correct or not.
