How to solve this
- In multiplication word problems, look for a number of equal groups and a group size — these are your two factors.
- Underline the key numbers and the question word, then write the multiplication equation before calculating.
- Check that your answer has the correct unit (apples, euros, cm …) and makes sense in the story.
